Xarama Scents was born from a simple truth I’ve carried my whole life: scents trigger memories, and memories preserve legacy.
I'm Rachel!
A Brooklyn Native, proud Haitian-American woman, wife, mom, entrepreneur, minister, and storyteller at heart. My fragrances have always been about bridging back to home… to Port-de-Paix, to Valparaiso, to my family’s ancestry, to the prayers that covered me, to the warmth of community, and to the faith that has carried me through every season.
In 2020, during a time when the world felt heavy, I turned to the comfort of lit candles and quiet moments with God. Little did I know that he would turn it into purpose. What started as a creative escape with my kids and husband quickly bloomed into Xarama Scents, a family-owned fragrance studio based in Brooklyn, NY and inspired by Haiti’s beauty, history, and resilience.
